I grew up not too far away from this course and it was the first one I played way back about 25 years ago. Even though I am a member at a club in Northampton I still go back to Corby for the odd round. It is a very mature course and was once an open cast mine from the earlier days of the steel works and as far as I can see it gets a lot of its lines from this, and as a result the entire course looks natural not forced. My personal favorite holes are 2nd, 5th, 10th and 17th. The first and last holes start at the top of the course so your starting tee shot and the last put give you cracking views over much of the layout. ...reviewed on Aug 08, 2009
